Welcome to the 2009 SPE OKC Production and Operations Symposium. Both the convention center and the hotels are within a few minutes walk of historic Bricktown with the new canal system, the Ford Center Arena, home of our new NBA OKC Thunder team, many great restaurants, amazing museums and galleries and tons of shopping opportunities.

The Myriad Gardens are right across the street with its lush greenery and beautifully landscaped gardens. Just to the north a couple blocks is the Oklahoma City Museum of Art with an amazing permanent collection including the inspiring artistry of Dale Chihuly.

Historic Bricktown is a few steps down the street and boasts an impressive canal system with ferry rides. Huddled next to the canal are over 20 restaurants and shops to cater to your every need. If you feel like taking in a movie, Harkins Theatre holds Oklahoma City’s only Ciné-capri theatre.

If that wasn’t enough there are a myriad of sports events to catch as well, including OKC Redhawks, OKC Blazers Ice Hockey or OKC Yard Dawgz Arena Football and much more!

Oklahoma City’s trendy atmosphere blends with its deep western heritage to create an exciting destination steeped in culture and adventure. With so many choices, you can be guaranteed every night will be eventful for you.
